Pandemic strangers

At first the pictures were innocent. A view of running shoes on a treadmill. A beer can in a shower.

But the words supplemented and enticed.

Who drinks in the shower? she wanted to know.

Shower beers are the best! he responded.

Over time, things progress. Strategic selfies covering her assets, but not all the way.

A slightly open towel. Curves on display. A nipple showing.

He reciprocates. On the floor with a hand wrapped around his distraction. Hinting, just enough.

There’s bound to be a mess.

Not everyone on the continent descended into pandemic lock-down simultaneously. The internet keeps them connected, and entertained, through inevitable boredom.

She wonders, how many are there? And how long until the mischief really takes off?
